AFS Vet's Leather Jerkin

This leather jerkin is wartime issue. It came directly from the vet's family. The vet served early in the war in the AFS. He was issued this leather jerkin for fire duties. It has lost it's wartime label, but it is clearly stamped, on the inside, as AFS 1.

Kriegsmarine Eagle

This example is new to the market, having surfaced directly from a vet's family.
The eagle has been stitched, by the vet, onto a small page, which has been ripped out of a book. The eagle is clearly tunic removed and shows good wear.
The vet's name and address is written, underneath the eagle.

This is a Post Office book that belonged to a female customer, who banked at Tunbridge Wells, in Kent. The account was opened in October 1929 and closed in October 1944. The book is complete, with all of it's pages and is in very good condition.  read more

West Riding Home Guard Officers Photo

This is a good, wartime example. It shows officers from the 23rd West Riding, Home Guard Battalion, in Halifax. 2 of the battalion titles are clearly visible, in this photo. The previous owner, of this picture, has researched the location, indicating that it was taken outside a Home Guard drill hall in Prescott Street, in Halifax.
