Dunkirk Newspaper
This is a May 31st 1940 dated, edition of The Daily Express.

It surfaced over the Christmas period, having been found under floorboards in a village hall.

The paper was left folded, so the right hand corner is faded, as shown.

The Dunkirk evacuation is the headline, whilst other BEF stories , are covered on other pages.

The newspaper is complete, with all 8 sides present.

Arguably, not an stunning item of Militaria, but, it is... an evocative slice of May 1940 History.

Popski's Private Army
This is a 1953 dated, hardback edition.

Written by Lieutenant Colonel Popski, the book gives his first hand account of operations, during the war.

The book has been left on a shelf for a long time and is cobwebbed and dusty. It has a few minor creases to a few pages, but otherwise, it is in good condition.

It has a fine, full page portrait of Popski, at the front, as shown.

In addition, there are 2 pages of photos.

It is an engaging read to say to least !
