12th Royal Lancers Armoured Car Press Photo This is a December 31st 1934 dated, Press Photo. It has it's original, paper caption on the reverse. alongside, an ink, Press Teletext caption, which is very faded. The photo shows an armoured car, from the 12th Royal Lancers on it's journey to Germany. It a good sized photo, measuring 25 by 20 cm / 10 by 8 Inches. It is in good condition, as shown. 1914 Musketry Regulations Manual This is a 1914 dated edition, of the 1909 musketry manual. It is clearly a well used example and it does have some water damage to the photo pages in particular. There is some minor, insect damage to some pages. These faults aside, it is a good, honest example. 100 % Sleeper. PAY PAL Customers Only.
1914- 1915 Star This is named to a Frederick Upward. Driver, Royal Field Artillery. 62141. The ribbon is a replacement. PAY PAL Customers Only.
1914- 1915 Star Named to a Private Francis . E. Morrish. 971 West Somerset Yeomanry. The medal comes with it's original, period ribbon and is a good, untouched example. 100 % Sleeper. PAY PAL Customers Only.
1917 Army Small Pack This is a damaged example. It has lost one side buckle and both of the top, rear buckles. The remaining side buckle, has been crudely re stitched back onto the pack, by it's previous owner. Nevertheless, the pack is a M.E.Co example and 1917 dated. The blanco is original to the pack. The remaining buckles are in good, untouched condition. The webbing is in good, clean condition. It is priced accordingly. PAY PAL Customers Only.
1940 Empire Certificate This is named to a Miss Pauline Jones. Her address in North Wales, is on the reverse. Apart from one, small tear, the certificate is in good condition. 100 % Sleeper. PAY PAL Customers Only.
31st Armoured Tank Brigade Group Photo This is a very early photo of the 31st Armoured Tank Brigade. The unit was formed in 1941 and this is arguably, one of the first group photos of the formation. The regiment was sent into Normandy in June 1944 and fought right upto the end of war in North West Europe. The photo is mounted on card and is large. It measures 46 by 34 cm / 18 by 13 Inches. The vet has written in pen on the left hand bottom corner, to indicate where is he on the photo. It is in very good condition. 100 % Sleeper. PAY PAL Customers Only.
6th Armoured Division Table Silk This is a good, wartime example. It measures 42 by 39 cm / 16 by 14 Inches. The back has one corner undone, as something was removed from the inside. The front is in very good condition, as shown. PAY PAL Customers Only.
7th Armoured Division History This is a 1945 dated, hardback publication. The book charts the history of the 7th Armoured Div, during the war. It is packed throughout with photos. Adler Magazine This is a May 1943 dated, German edition. It has features on Stuka raids in Bosnia and airfield recognition procedures. It is in good condition. 100 % Sleeper. PAY PAL Customers Only.

Air Raids Publication This is a June 1940 dated, softback publication. It was produced by the Ministry of Home Security. Printed on high grade paper, the manual is packed throughout with photos. Airborne Magazine Feature This is a December 6th, 1941 dated edition of 'Everybody's' magazine. It is A3 sized and quite a slim publication. The striking, colour front cover is part of a special 2 page feature on Airborne troops. Please note that the magazine is printed on low grade paper and is quite salty. PAY PAL Customers.
Airborne Magazine Feature This is a December 16th 1944 dated edition of 'Parade' magazine. It is a very large format publication, produced for countries, that were principally outside the British Empire. It has a 4 page photo feature on Airborne units arriving to Athens to counter the outbreak of civil war. The photos of the paras, show them engaged in street fighting, against Communist guerillas. Some of the pages do have rips, but the magazine is rare and is priced accordingly. PAY PAL Customers Only.
Ammo Boots This pair are new to the market and literally straight out of a vet's suitcase. They are a size 7 and 1945 dated. Both boots are WD and broad arrow stamped, as shown. They come complete with nearly all of their original, wartime features. The right boot has lost its steel support on the front sole, as shown. The laces are original to the pair and not replacements. Both are in good, supple condition. Both the inner sole, dates were covered in dirt and had to be cleaned, prior to being photographed. The inner tongues on both boots are in good, supple condition. Army Boxing Team Photo This photo is June 1943 dated annotated, as soldiers from H Company. The photo comes in its original wartime flysheet and the photographer's address was in Felixstowe. Army Braces These are an unissued pair. They are WD stamped and 1942 dated. The leather tabs are all in good, supple condition. The cotton fabric is in mint condition. They would be difficult to improve upon. 100 % Sleeper. PAY PAL Customers Only.
Army Compass and Leather Pouch This is 1926 dated and broad arrow stamped. It is maker stamped as F. Barker and Son. The compass has suffered some damage, as it has lost it's internal fluid and is no longer in working order. Nevertheless, there is no other damage and the glass components are all in very good condition. The leather pouch is in need of some TLC. It is a good, pre war example and priced accordingly. Army Signals Satchel This is a good, untouched, honest example. The satchel is M.E.Co stamped and 1943 dated. It comes with it's original , M.E.Co 1943 strap, which is a nice feature. Arnhem Casualty Medal Grouping The grouping comprises of the following : France and Germany Star, Defence Medal Medal Issue Certificate Photo of Private Durber. 2 Photos of Private Durber's grave at Arnhem. Durber's improvised knife. 1940's Christmas, cardboard, box lid. 2 medals from Private Durber's grouping are missing, which I assume, were probably kept by his family. Arnhem Casualty Medal Grouping This is a small grouping, named to a Private Thomas Durber of the 1st BN, Border Regiment, 1st Airborne. Durber was killed in action on Thursday 21st September 1944, aged 19. He is buried at Arnhem Oosterbeek War Cemetery, 17. B 11. PAY PAL Customers Only.

ARP Manual This is a 1941 dated example. It is printed on high grade, glossy paper. Apart from some minor foxing, it is in very good condition. It has the local authority stamp for Harpenden in Hertfordshire, on the front. Packed with photos, this manual is the standard reference guide to Home Front gas masks. 100 % Sleeper. ATS Magazine Feature This is a December 1943 dated edition of 'Picture Post'. One of it's lead photo articles is on 30 recruits from the West Indies, joining the ATS. There is a 2 page special feature on German gliders, which focuses on the loss of the island of Leros, to the Germans. ATS Forage Cap This example is a 100 % Sleeper. It retains all of its original features and is a well worn example. It has 2 tiny moth holes, which are barely visible. Berlin Bank Book This is an unusual Third Reich Sleeper. It is a bank book, in it's original bank card folder, with a document inside. The bank book has 5 entries from late 1941, into 1942. The statement document makes more interesting reading. It is 3 sided and 1943 dated. The folder measures 20 by 14 cm / 8 by 5 Inches. The whole set are in very good condition. 100 % Sleeper. Bren Gun Magazine Feature This is a November 1940 dated edition of 'Modern World'. It has a special 2 page feature on Spitfires. The centre pages have impressive illustrations of the Bren Gun. Canadian Air Force Fitness Manual This is a softback, wartime publication, produced for air and ground crew, of the Canadian Air Force. It is a slim manual, well illustrated with photos. The text is concise and well written. It is in mint condition. 100 % Sleeper. PAY PAL Customers Only.
Canadian Ensign Flag This is new to the market. It measures 88 by 43 cm / 35 by 17 Inches. It is clearly, a well used example. The flag is stamped 'British Made'. Coronet Magazine This is a December 1944 dated, US magazine. It was most likely left by US service personnel, stationed in Britain. It is a magazine, well ahead of it's time. It has 2, pull out, Colour posters, as shown. There are many, large colour photos of US troops, throughout the magazine. It is small sized, measuring 19 by 14 cm / 7 by 5 Inches. Coventry Book This is a 1941, softback publication, which tells the story behind the raids on Coventry in 1940 and 41. It is a very salty example. There is damage to the front cover and the centre pages are loose. In addition, a young child has scribbled on a few pages. D- Day 50th Anniversary Magazine This is a 1994, softback publication. It was published to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the D-Day Landings. D- Day Edition Men Only Magazine This is a June 1944 dated edition of 'Men Only'. It is packed with very witty, colour cartoons and articles. It even has one nude, pin up. Apart from the bottom spine being loose, the magazine is in very good condition. D- Day Jersey Poster This is a June 6th 1944, Third Reich poster, which surfaced from Jersey. These posters gave a stark warning to the population, regarding the consequences of civil unrest, during the D - Day invasion. The poster measures 31 by 20 cm / 12 by 8 Inches. D- Day Story- The Longest Day This is a 1977 dated, hardback edition. It is dedicated at the front by Ist Commando Brigade vet, Piper Bill Millon. It is dedicated to a RAF vet, who has written his unit, at the front. In addition, Bill Millon has enclosed a photo of the 1st Commando plaque. The book is mint condition. 100 % Sleeper. DAF Diary This is a 1939 dated, unissued, hardback DAF diary. Pocket sized, this example has all of it's diary pages, at the front still blank. The diary is printed on high grade paper and is packed with technical information, diagrams and photos of industrial machines. At the back there are a few pages of DAF adverts. Deutscher Volkssturm Wehrmacht Armband This is a very salty,' Vet Bring Back' example. It clearly is a well used example. The vet used some cellotape to keep the material together, where it has split apart. Despite these faults, the armband is an 100 % honest example, which has lots of character. DLI Officers Forage Cap This is a pre 1952 example. It came from an officer in the Royal Engineers, who was attached to the Tyne Engineers. It is a small sized cap, which comes with all it's original features. There is some very light moth tracking and staining to one side, otherwise, it is in very good condition. 100 % Sleeper. Extra Large Size Web Belt This is a perfect example for re enacting purposes. It will fit up to a 50 Inch waist. It is M.E.Co stamped and 1952 dated. Field Marshall Von Kluge Photo This is an October 1942 dated, candid photo. It is annotated on the back, as shown. Von Kluge is shown, arriving at a Wehrmacht HQ. There is a line of senior officers in the background, saluting. Von Kluge is pictured, holding his Field Marshall's baton. It measures 11 by 9 cm / 4 by 3 Inches. Fighter Ace Feature This is a July 1942 dated, French edition of Adler magazine. The front page shows Hans Joachim Marseille, the Luftwaffe's highest scoring ace in North Africa. The magazine has a 2 page feature on the fall of Tobruk and there are other interesting features in this edition. Gas Mask and Bag This is a February 1944 dated bag. It does have some minor fraying to the strap, as shown. The gas mask, tube and filter are all 1953 dated. The headpiece strap is 1964 dated. General Alexander Press Photo This is a May 1944 dated, press photo of General Alexander. The photo retains it's original, wartime caption. General Eisenhower and Air Marshalls Press Photo This is photo from The British Ministry of Information, Middle East. It is quite a celebrity list, with General Eisenhower, General Brerton and Air Marshalls Trafford Leigh Mallory and Arthur Conningham. The photo measures 18 by 24 cm / 7 by 9 Inches. German Army Medics Sterilizing Tin This is a Imperial, German Army sterilizing tin. It is pocket sized and a well used example. All the interior parts are in good, working order, as shown. The tin has 2 very large, period dents to the top and bottom. It has been damaged recently and the top lid is dented, as showed. The lid will not close. With some TLC, this can be repaired. German Para Recruitment Leaflet This is a A4 sized Luftwaffe recruitment leaflet. It is 2 sided. It was directed at recruiting new members into the German para arm. It has just one tear at the bottom, otherwise, it is in good condition. PAY PAL Customers Only.
Glider Pilot Regiment Defence Medal This is a boxed, Defence Medal, named to a R.F Newman. Newman was an acting sergeant in the Glider Pilot Regiment in September 1944. His service number is 14418028. The medal is uncleaned and is being sold here, as found. 100 % Sleeper. PAY PAL Customers Only.
Gordon Highlander Portraits This is a pair of 1940 dated portraits. They are named on the back to Ronald, aged 21, February 1940. The portraits are colourised and mounted on card. Guernsey Newspaper This is an October 26th 1940 dated edition of 'The Star', newspaper. It is an original wartime example. The paper focuses on local stories, which give a unique insight into life in Occupied Guernsey. There are just 2 official German articles, which are clearly written by the Germans. The first gives a summary on bombing raids on London and Allied raids on Germany. Surprisingly, the editors managed to get past German censorship, by placing this article, in the middle page of the paper, where nobody would take notice of it. The front page article gives clear notice to all motor vehicle owners, to present their vehicles for inspection on certain dates. The paper runs to a full 8 pages and is complete. 100 % Sleeper. Harrison and Hussey Gun Catalogue This is a Gun and Rifle makers catalogue from the Edwardian period. It is a well produced, softback, booklet, advertising the Albemarle Shooting grounds in Worcester Park, Surrey. The guns advertised are beautifully illustrated. The booklet has 5 photos, illustrating the grounds. It measures 22 by 14 cm / 9 by 5 Inches. It is in mint condition and an entertaining read ! 100 % Sleeper. PAY PAL Customers Only.
HMS Furious and Illustrious Photo Grouping This small set of photos is new to the market. They all surfaced from a house clearance. The photos show aircraft from HMS Furious and Illustrious, during operations. Many of the postcard sized photos are annotated on the reverse, as shown. Some of the captions are apt. Home Front Birthday Card This is a very quaint, little sleeper from the Home Front. The birthday card is from a young girl called Kitty, to her mother. Of particular interest is the ellipse, which is followed by the letter 'V' and 1942. Clearly, the young girl was offering a positive message to her mother, on her birthday ! It is a good size, measuring 14 by 19 cm/ 5 by 8 Inches. The front of the card has something missing, but is otherwise in very good condition. It is a charming, little sleeper. 100 % Sleeper. Mine Clearance Web Pouch This appears to be a good, shed/garage find. The web pouch is very long, measuring 36 cm / 14 Inches. It is M.E.Co stamped and 1943 dated. It is a well used example and there are some holes to the bottom section, as shown. In addition, the pouch has some distortion, as it leans to one side. Inside are the 6, metal spikes. They show naval ratings training aboad ships. One photo is April 1945 dated. Another one is annotated 'Gun Crew, HMS Kent'. HMS Kent was involved in the hunt for the Graf Spree in November 1939. Neptune Magazine This is a January 1943 dated edition of 'Neptune' magazine. It is , one of the more obscure publications of the war. It was the official magazine of the Merchant Navy. It had a wide readership, as it was printed in 4 different languages. This edition, as a pull out calendar for December 1942. The opening, lead story celebrates the latest convoy getting through to North Africa. The magazine however, is packed with photo features on the defeat of the Axis at El Alamein and RAF bombing raids on Germany. It's only fault is very bad rusting to the staples. 100 % Sleeper. Normandy Campaign Daily Mail Newspaper This is a July 31st 1944 dated edition of 'The Daily Mail'. The front page carries the lead story of the continued allied, advance into Normandy. However, the best feature is on the centre pages. There is a 2 page photo exclusive. It shows a female casualty buried up to her head in rubble, after a V1 explosion. These are rare photos and I certainly have never encountered these in any other publication. The paper runs to a full 8 pages. It is salty, with minor tears and rips. Snow Camouflage Mittens This pair are matching, maker stamped and 1941 dated. They have been issued and there is considerable foxing to the outside of the mittens. They are a well designed item of kit, with elasticated cuffs. The mittens illustrate the fact, that sophisticated items of Winter kit were available and worn by the 8th Army during the Winter campaign months in Italy and in North West Europe, during the Winter of 1944/45. Swastika Sweetheart Brooch This is new to the market. It measures just 5 cm in length. It is stamped 'Silver' on the reverse and there is a hallmark on the middle section. This is covered in dirt and not visible. There is a 1964 date, crudely scratched date to the reverse. The pin is in good working order. It is completely untouched and filthy on the reverse side. Third Reich Factory Worker's Certificate This is a 1940 dated certificate, named to a Frau Lina Wiedemann. She was engaged in metal production, for the war effort. The reverse has a typed wartime caption, with explains which metals Frau Wideman was working on. The certificate has been folded in the past, as shown. It measures 21 by 14 cm / 8 by 6 Inches. Third Reich Propaganda Leaflet This is a very small sized leaflet, measuring just 11 by 16 cm/ 4 by 6 Inches. It is entitled 'Why die for Stalin ?'. It is August 1944 dated, at the bottom. It was aimed at allied soldiers, warning about the dangers posed by the Soviet Union in a Post War Europe. It is very salty little leaflet, printed on low grade paper. It is now in somewhat fragile condition. Nevertheless, it's 2 sided message, is a masterpiece of Third Reich propaganda at it's best. Typhoon Fighter Bomber Feature This is a May 1943 dated edition of 'Illustrated' magazine. It has 2 special photo features. The first is a 4 page feature on British Army ski troops, training in the Lebanon. The second, 4 page feature is on a RAF test pilot, flying the new Hawker Typhoon. Union Jack Bunting This is a wartime section of bunting. It has 16, individual flags, each measuring 40 by 25 cm / 6 by 10 Inches. Each flag is stamped, 'Made in England'. The bunting is still attached with it's original cotton cord. There are some very old pieces of rope tied at different intervals. The majority of the flags are in good condition. US Naval Photo Grouping This is a grouping of some 78, late war, US navy photos. The dates range from June to September 1945. All of the photos are neatly and concisely annotated with names or dates. They are all taken at sea. The most interesting ones show on June 9th 1945 a Japanese delegation arriving on board to negotiate surrender terms. Of particular interest in this grouping is how carefully composed all the photos are. During the surrender talks, the Japanese officials are cropped out of view. The only visible item in view is the Japanese flag, on the launch boat. Similarly, during a September meeting with the Japanese, it is 2 black sailors who are pictured delivering cigarettes to the delegation. V For Victory This is a 1948 dated, hardback publication. It is an autobiographical account of the work of the photographer Rosie Newman, during the war. Newman raised huge amounts of money for charities, showing her colour films of The Home Front. There are 11, colour photos in the book, but they are not outstanding, to be fair. Her black and white photos are more interesting. Her account of the war is arguably of greater appeal, in this publication. It is evocative and captures the mood on the Home Front. A special feature is the author's dedication, at the front, which is December 1959 dated, by her. The book comes complete with it's original dust jacket and is in very good condition. 100 % Sleeper. War in Pictures Publication This is an uncommon, early war magazine publication. It is printed on a large A3 format. The high grade paper, gives the photos superb definition. War Years Needlework Picture This is an unusual, wartime Forces picture. It surfaced in a female vet's estate. The needlework picture is a good size, measuring 36 by 43 cm / 13 by 17 Inches. The vet didn't get past 1941, as the thread is still attached, where she left it. It came folded in the HM Forces envelope. The illustrations on the picture are particularly amusing, for some events.
